TikTok is already banned here in India since 2020 along with a bunch of other Chinese apps.

Sometimes, when I look at people worldwide complaining about the misleading content on TikTok, I feel good-riddance. However, you are somewhat right - using any app should be more of a personal choice rather than a political decision.

Anyways, I feel Insta reels and YouTube shorts have both made their space in the small content category and will surely take the crown if TikTok bids farewell. Unless, a wildcard makes an entry (X shorts).
