Thanks for sharing this story, Clark! I am in the process of setting up a NAS at home for me and my Fam. I didn’t consider a Mac Mini before but after reading this story I am considering getting a second-hand model that I could save upon. The different methods you described along with the difficulty level are going to be very helpful for a beginner like me.
