Thanks for reading! Don’t get me wrong, e-ink displays are still much better for reading than LCD/OLED displays. However, for books like says comics or textbooks, like you mentioned, I would definitely go for an iPad (Mini, if possible).

The best way is to test-drive them at the Apple Store. And once you get one, don’t forget to get a matte screen protector - it makes a night & day’s difference for your reading and writing experience.
