Such a great article on my favourite iPad Accessory! I believe Apple outdid themselves with the Magic Keyboard release at the start of this decade. Just like you, I don’t get the hype around mechanical keyboard for the very same reasons you mentioned. But when I got the Magic Keyboard for my iPad Air, it was pure bliss! Two years down the road, I find myself using my iPad way more than the Mac.

Glad you mentioned the lock key on the new Magic Keyboard. Its weird they kept the lock key on the new iPad Air’s keyboard too. I wonder if they have a plan to make it work as a biometric with a future update. It would be super cool and an instant upgrade for me. Thanks for sharing this awesome story, Manav!
