Interesting Article. For the past few months, I have been exploring the same idea - Can I reduce my dependence on tech? My solution to is a bit complex and maybe even ironic. I have switched to some old devices to offload doom-scrolling apps or services. Like cancelling Apple Music subscription and going back to the iPod, switching to the 13 Mini with a worse battery and tiny display to prevent the infinite doom scroll. So far I have been somewhat successful with these. I have used old tech to replace the addiction caused by new tech. Not sure if it will work for all though. I wonder if companies will do anything to reduce our dependence on their tech knowing well that their business is at stake too.
