I did not know this. I do basic digital art on Procreate on my M1 iPad Air and was seriously considering the new iPad Air or even the Mini 7 just to get the Pencil Pro. But looks like the lack of hover feature is going to make me reconsider this purchase. Thanks for pointing this out!
