DIY Food #1: How to make Blue Tea in two different tasty ways at Home

Lets try something different today here. We will be preparing Butterfly Pea Flower Tea in two different ways i.e two different recipes.
Recipe #1 is made with Milk and is usually heavy while consuming while Recipe #2 is made with lemonade and is relatively more relaxing and soothing to drink
Recipe #1: Blue Tea Smoothie
Ingredients (Serves 1–2):
- BLUE TEA — Butterfly Pea Flower Lavender (30g extract)
- Water (300 mL)
- Condensed Milk (3 Tablespoons)
- Regular Milk (90 mL)
Procedure:
- Take Butterfly Pea flowers in a bowl and pour water in it. Allow the mixture to settle for next 4–5 minutes. Bowl on stove for faster extraction.
- Filter the flower petals from the mixture collecting only the blue coloured water in another container.
- Pour the extract water into an ice-cube tray and place them in the freezer for 2–3 hours.
- In your serving glass, pour condensed milk followed by regualr milk. (Proportion: For every 30mL of regular milk there should be 1 tablespoon of condensed milk).
- Finally put the blue ice-cubes in the glass and stir with spoon to see the blue colour in the smoothie.
Recipe #2: Blue Tea Lemonade
Ingredients (Serves 1–2):
- BLUE TEA — Butterfly Pea Flower Lavender (30g extract)
- Water (300 mL)
- Lemonade/Soda (300 mL)
Procedure:
- Take Butterfly Pea flowers in a bowl and pour water in it. Allow the mixture to settle for next 4–5 minutes. Bowl on stove for faster extraction.
- Filter the flower petals from the mixture collecting only the blue coloured water in another container.
- Pour the extract water into an ice-cube tray and place them in the freezer for 2–3 hours.
- In your serving glass, put the ice-cubes and then pour lemonade/soda from top. You should see the color change from blue to light purple.
